Gordon Brothers Expands Equipment Finance Platform with Addition of Michael Sheridan as Managing Director

Industry veteran brings deep equipment finance expertise and market relationships to support continued growth of the firm's direct originations platform

Boston, Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gordon Brothers, the global asset experts, has welcomed Michael Sheridan as Managing Director, Direct Originations, bolstering the firm's equipment finance platform. 

Based in Chicago, Sheridan will be responsible for expanding the firm's direct originations platform, partnering with middle-market companies and private equity sponsors, and sourcing and structuring equipment finance solutions that support growth across mid-ticket and large-ticket transactions. He will work closely with colleagues across Gordon Brothers' integrated platform to deliver creative solutions that drive exceptional outcomes for clients.

Sheridan brings extensive experience in equipment finance, with a track record of originating and structuring complex transactions, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored financing solutions. Throughout his career, he has held leadership and origination roles at major financial institutions including 36th Street Capital and PNC Equipment Finance.
